Libby Smallbone is an American/ Australian actress, singer, and creative whose work spans film, music, and live performance. Born in Tennessee, she grew up in one of Christian entertainment’s most recognised families, where music, storytelling, and the arts were central to everyday life. 

From an early age, she traveled extensively with her family while supporting her sister, Rebecca St. James, crisscrossing America and touring internationally. This gave Libby firsthand experience in performance and the entertainment industry. She is also the younger sister of Joel and Luke Smallbone who are the duo in the Grammy Award winning band, For King and Country. 

As a teenager, Libby began writing and recording original music, later performing with her church worship team, appearing as a solo vocalist, and providing backup vocals for Rebecca St. James. She also joined For King + Country on tour for featured performances, further developing her stage presence before transitioning her focus toward acting.

Libby began taking acting seriously when she was cast in a role in her family’s film, “Unsung Hero”. She quickly caught the acting bug and appeared in a number of films including The American Miracle, Beyond Belief, and Dot Conner: Webtective. It didn’t take long before she was cast in lead roles in Prairie Winds, Due North, Remembering and Operation Friendship. She is known for her natural, warm and heartfelt performances and brings authenticity and emotional depth to every role she tackles. 

Drawing from a lifetime immersed in music, film, and storytelling, continues to expand her career while remaining connected to projects that celebrate hope, faith, family, and meaningful stories.
